Chastity
Opening Song: Choose the Right (Hymn #239)
Scriptures: 1 Tim. 4:12
Activity: Do a pornography drill. Act out what steps you take when you see pornography.
Closing Song: True to the Faith (254)
"We warn that individuals who violate covenants of chastity...will one day stand accountable before God." (The Family: A Proclamation to the World)
Our bodies are temples. We are to keep them not only physically clean, but more importantly, morally clean. Just like temples are sacred, so are our bodies. We treat them with respect. We also treat other people's bodies with respect. We don't share our bodies with anyone except our husband or our wife. We don't let anyone touch our private parts and we don't touch anyone else's private parts. We also don't look at pictures of private parts. Those pictures or videos are call pornography. If someone disrespects our body by touching it inappropriately we need to tell an adult immediately. If we see pornography we need to tell an adult immediately. This doesn't make us bad. You won't be in trouble. Telling an adult allows them to help you and to keep you safe. Jesus Christ loves us and he wants us to be clean. He also wants to help us stay clean or become clean again if we make a mistake. He is always there to help us.
